SEEBURGER BIC Module

Hi experts,

I am having a situation where I need to ignore the UNA segment of the EDI document in the Sender File adapter which is using BIC module.

When the segment is not present, the separators/indicators are being defaulted and everything runs fine. But as the EDI files are having faulty UNA segment (having 8 characters, but specifications mandated 9 characters) it results in an error and the sender party is unable to do any change at this point. So, it needs to be handled from SAP PI.

So, if there is any adapter module which is able to ignore the EDI segment if present, please inform.

If there is any other way around, please also provide here. Thanks.

you can try use replaceString module to search and replace the segment value with required character.

Thanks a lot. It worked. Actually I am new to this Seeburger and not getting any place to find good materials regarding Seeburger Adapter and the seeburger adapter modules. If you have any such document related to Seeburger, please provide the links here.

If EDI files are having faulty segment then do you want to skip whole file? or only the segment in the file? kindly provide your sample input file content,
