BP street address info not copied to Contact Person..

In CIC winclient, when a new Contact person is created, all the address fields are populated with the BP's address information except Street.

Any idea as to where I should start digging?

Hi Chandrika,

Is that possible for you to check the SPRO settings in your CRM 3.0 system such as,

Customer Relationship Management --> Transactions --> Basic Settings --> Copying Control for Business Transactions

Define Copying Control for Transaction Types

Define Copying Control for Item Categories

Define Item Category Determination when Copying

Business Add-In for Copying Control

whether they have the street address set as a mandatory field to be passed from the preceding document.

Hi Arun,

These config are for copy control for business transactions and no way related to the business partner creation in CIC0.

I tried to look for the BADI class mentioned by you and it doesn't exist in CRM 3.0.

I would suggest you check in OSS for this problem.

Hi guys,

I have the same problem in CRM 4.0, do you have any idea where to setup the street address as the mandatory field to be passed.Because when i debugged the screen the class inside is not even considering the street address, but the source parameter ADDRESS_DATA_IN has all the data,

CLASS : CL_DEF_IM_CRM_IC_BP_SEARCH

METHOD : IF_EX_CRM_IC_BP_SEARCH~SET_MANDATORY_FIELDS_CPCR

What version of CRM you are on? We use CIC winclient in 3.0 and they seem to populate the street number.

Do you know if you added any BADI's or custom code in CIC0?

we are on crm 4.0 and there is no custom code.. so, I am curious to where can I look at the copy process of Address data from BP to Contact Person.
