Hi,

I have a scenario,

presently for our client we are using Immediate delivery method like Cash Sales, hence delivery immediately get created while creating a sales order.

The Scenario is we need to configure Delivery in such a way if customer request delivery of the material tomorrow the delivery should not get saved and it should due for tomorrows delivery. As we are using Immediate delivery the delivery document get automatically created. Please help to solve this issue.

Thanks

Does it not work with the setting in VOV8 immediate delivery = 'X'? With this setting the sales order should be saved, but normally the delivery will not be created in the background if the confirmed quanity is for tomorrow.

Hi Veselina Peykova.

Thanks for your input, We have tested by using immediate delivery=X, since material is available, system will create delivery. When customer is saying that requested delivery date 23-09-15 still we have to change the schedule line manually as it is standard behaviour of SAP for that requirement we are using a user exit. Our problem is system should not create delivery if  customer proposes Requested delivery date on 23-09-2015 system only create SO not Delivery when iam using immediate Delivery option .

Kindly guide me

Hello Veselina,

Immediately Delivery=X (Create delivery immediately, if quantity confirmed for today) .

If we use Immediately Delivery X it means system will create the delivery immediately if quantity is confirmed. in this case even though customer give delivery date for tomorrow and system will confirm the quantity today and will create the delivery today only.

This is strange. In IDES ECC 6.0 thist seems to work (no changes to the standard settings).

I changed manually the requested delivery date for tomorrow and this is the result I got:

And no delivery is created at save:

Is your order created in ERP or in CRM?

Probably you can check the settings for scheduling and ATP.

Edit: I do not really understand the business logic in creating a cash sales order with requested delivery date different from today.

Could you please explain the idea behind?

Hi Veselina,

Our business scenario is client is using E commerce portal Magento (Online Fish) for creating sales order customer can choose 3 delivery slots for delivery (Morning, Afternoon, Evening) in Magento, same time in sap system will create sales order calling API.Customer can choose which date and slot on they want the delivery so for avoiding so much of delay we want to have immediate delivery when sales order is creating. can you shed some lights on the issue.

I am not familiar with the capabilities of Magento.

From SAP perspective cash sales is like going to a shop - you take some products, get the receipt, pay immediately and take them away- so there is no need to plan for shipping activities or transportation - you either have the products available and given to you now or you do not buy them (I guess this is why there is a check in the standard copy requirements routine 002 that prevents you from billing a cash sales transaction if the goods movement for the delivery is not posted, despite that this is order-related billing for order quantity).

You previously mentioned setting a different requested delivery date than today, not different time slots per day - so I became qurious .

If the question for the different requested delivery date in CS is still valid:

You need find out why your material availability date is 22.09.2015 for requested delivery date 23.09.2015 in cash sales. If somebody had activated delivery scheduling for CS and switched off forward scheduling, you can get such kind of results. Does the same problem occur when you create the order manually in ERP or only when you get it from the portal? If it happens in both cases, then check the scheduling first, if it happens only for portal orders, then check with a developer the exact logic that is implemented.
