Hello All

While I tried OCC to load data for LIST_SUB , I selected almost all datas provided by Content , the data load was never completed as it was always revolving . Should we usually interrupt the loading process to see the data load . Once I canceal OCC screen , then only the sap screen stops loading data and can view data loaded . I doubt this way the datas are not loaded completely . Any help on this ? iS this the way we should load data ?

Regards,

Krishna

Hi Krishna,

I am not sure what do you mean by ' I selected almost all datas provided by Content'. You only need to select & run ERC_PS for loading SERC data to LIST_SUB. All other mapped rules are relevant for secondary data determination.

If you have correctly mapped your .ruc & .mdb files on the expert server, have registered the rules sets, and have configured the OCC set-up as explained in admin manual, then it should load the content against the selected LIST_SUB. There will be an intermediate screen where you should be able to select amongst the content data which all needs to be loaded. If this screen is not coming for you after selection of ERC_PS, then somewhere your set-up is not complete.

Pavan

I selected ERC_PS .The secondary screen is coming but when I tried to load it took much time to load like 30 minutes to complete may be but have not waited till that time . Data is getting loaded but it is taking too much time .

Dear Krishna

did you test on: "Test", "Quality" or "Prod SAP system?

In any case: for "initial" load and of you just check "all" (all content) and based on LIST_SUB type (CAS number) you will more or less data. 30 min is quite long;

You should first check may be content chapter by chapter; and you should may be select one LIST_SUB (CAS number) with less data to get experience.

Depending on number of LIS_SUB and CAS number effected an inital load will take a "long" time; time depends on internet connection etc.

I am not aware of corresponding OSS note talking about "performance" issues in this context
