After adding the column to the block in webi, Saved the report

    1) Open WebService Publisher

    2) Select the existing WSDL

    3) Then expand the WSDL and Select the block

    4) Right Click and select the "EDIT" option

    5) Then select the update

hi if you added the column in existing block, then you need to re-map those columns in dashboard. Go to connection manager and select same connection then remap all the columns to spreadsheet. for ex:- lets say already you have 4 columns mapped from A1 to D10, now you need to map A1 to E10

    Hi Kumar David,

When you add a new column to a WebI report block, you need to ensure that the web service reflects that column. You may test the existing web service within Rich Client or Internet Application.

To my knowledge, you have to create a new web service for a newly added column. That is the only way you see the new column in the web service.

Do post back if you are not able to achieve it.

    Hi David,

You can edit the web service from Web service publisher panel in web rich client.
However, I doubt if we can include the newly added column. Give it a try.
Later in the web service publisher just hover your mouse on the web service it will show the block. Else right click and test.

If the column is not included, recreate the web service. And re-import it in dashboards. Which means you will have to re-map all the columns.

Even if the edit works for you, you will still have to re-import it in dashboards.
