APO SNP Low Level Codes error

Hello all:

I run SNP on my locations in the US, but within the same APO system, other people run SNP for their locations in Europe.  I run a Location Heuristic and filter on just my plants, but leave material open so it plans on all levels in the BOM.

My question is this:  I run /sapapo/snpllc (Low Level Codes) prior to running my Heuristic.  I always receive an error on other plants that aren't mine.  Never an error on my plants.  Will this affect my Heuristic run?  Does the program complete the Low Level Codes on everything else that doesn't have an error?

Hi Andrea,

Since your requirement is - Low level codes should exist for all the products/locations for US region. First thing to make sure you verify the logs of low level code. Especially the log which says - "The system processed X number of location product(s)"

I believe you have "Whole Model" option to calculate low-level codes for the whole planning model. You can avoid seeing the error by using the Temporary LLC Determination which calculates low-level codes for a selected set of master data(using Manual Selection or Selection profile) - here you can specify locations only from US region.

Hi Andrea

As you are running Location Heuristic, as per my understanding only respective product from that location will get planned. It will not perform or do BOM explosion or planning for same location or other locations.

If you want plan for entire bom then you should go for multilevel Heuristic.

If you really want then you also require to mentioned all the products in the selection from the selection.
