Hi Olga,

"The user have several version of Excel: Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013." - absolutely bad practice   A lot of side effects!

What Excel version is opened when .xslx is launched from desktop?

Yes, very bad practice...

When .xlsx is launched from desktop Excel 2007 is opened.

And in this version of Excel users meet with problem from the Note 2107965 and Note can't help,
but that is another question.

Best Regards,

Olga.

"When .xlsx is launched from desktop Excel 2007 is opened" - then Excel 2007 executable file is associated with xlsx extension... May be 2007 is the latest installed.

Please check and correct associations!

Vadim

Hi,

Try to use this note, it explains with 2003 and 2013 as an example but it could also work in your case - http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2092616

And I agree that is a very bad practice, even only 2010 and 2013 together.

Ekaterina
