Cifing location to APO

Hello Everyone,

How APO will distinguish its a PLANT or DC after location gets cifed to APO from ECC ?

Hi Roy,

The only difference between a plant and a DC in APO is the icon displayed in the Supply Chain Engineer or Cockpit. Everything else is the same. This is for a plant (1001) and DC (1002) only.

APO Location Type - Characteristics in Supply Chain Management - SAP Library

Hello Roy

Please refer transaction code /SAPAPO/LOC3 (Location Master in APO).  Location Type field helps in distinguishing between different type of locations.

There are following Location Types exist.

1001 Production Plant

1002 Distribution Center

1003 Shipping Point

1005 Transportation Zone

1006 Stock Transfer Point

1007 Storage Location MRP Area

1010 Customer

1011 Vendor

1050 Subcontractor

1020 Transportation Service Provider

1030 Terminal

1031 Geographical Area

1040 Store
