iOS 9 Update for C4C iOS apps using Customers

Hi Colleagues,

iOS 9 is general available today. But we are not recommending C4C customers to upgrade until further notice. We have done tests with Beta but Apple always troubles with the GA version.

Hence we are doing complete verification of the apps today and tomorrow. Once after successful tests, we will inform for upgrade.

iOS 9.1 came out today.... testing and advised all our users NOT to upgrade yet.

I have a general question,  how are the customers informed about this topic ? Do they get an official mail from SAP ?

Hi Mark,

is there already an update to the IOS 9.1 compatability of the C4C IPAD APP ?

One of my customers has done the upgrade to IOS 9.1 and now the app is terminating, when he opens the account details view.

Could you please ask the customer to create an incident. It is definitely not related to iOS 9.1. We will investigate for the root cause.

Our users have upgraded to iOS 9.0.2

They have deleted the app and then re-installed. That seems to help. So far it is working.

Yes, we have passed on message to all customers through SPC to upgrade to iOS9 and also upgrade apps in the app store.

Hi All,

We have found few crashes on iOS9 and currently working on  delivering update to app store with the fixes.

We will communicate as soon as the app updates are available in the app store to proceed with upgrade. Until then, please don't upgrade to iOS9.

Is anyone else having issues with iOS 8 versions as well? Most of our users can not use the App at all. I have reported this via an incident but wondered if anyone else is seeing it on iPhones that were not upgraded.

We have found issues in iOS 9 and hence we would like to fix them first before requesting for upgrade to iOS9.
