Hi There,
Im looking for a sap guru to help me with my situation.
We have a sort of 'kanban' set up in the factory, but it is replenished differently from the norm. Instead of transferring we basically issue the stock straight out from the main storage location.
Down the left hand side is our current process, which is quite simple but transferring across to sap I am having issues especially with no3 creating a list of items to pick. We used an external list which was created in Microsoft access previously! Im not sure this is something which will be within sap's capability. I have tried all sorts
Any input would be greatly appreciated, and if anymore information is required I will update.
Many thanks in advance.
If I understood correctly then currently you are using the third party tool (acess based) to replenish the stock from main storage to the line side (based on kanban principle) now you want to activate the SAP KANBAN and the query is how to integrate the list to the physical scan ?
if I am not wrong then system automatically create the reservation list and accordingly the stock transfer takes place, can I suggest you to have a look on the below mentioned standard SAP link and let us know where at which point you are facing issue

Yes Manish, you are correct!
I have been told not to use warehouse management which the link is directing, but the stage I am struggling with is printing a collective list of items which need replenishing, also the issuing of the items using the scanner.
I do currently have the stock transfer in the control cycle selected as direct transfer posting (0008) which I think needs changing?
possibly to create a reservation, but would this not create single reservations every time I scan an empty bin? or could I print them collectively?
Hope that makes some sense...
