Hi Experts,
In My company there is lot of EDI scenarios running in GXS, But now we are going to migrate GXS to SAP PO 7.4
can anyone please share related docments.
Regards
Pradeep
Hi Pradeep,
Can you please let us know how you are accessing the GXS mailbox in your earlier PI version, are you using seeburger or SAP provided adapter,
can you kindly throw some light on this as we are developing a Interface to receive and send PO's but we are unable to retrieve the files from GXS, we are using PI 7.4 single stack.
Can you please help me in providing some links or any non-confidential documentation please ? Appreciate your help!!

Hi Pradeep,
For integrating with GXS, you can go for normal FTP adapter with GenericConverterModule. You can ask GXS for the server details and credentials.
In our case, there were only two folders 'send' and 'receive'. PI have to pick all the files from 'send' folder and place the files in 'receive' folder of GXS.
In addition, we have enhanced the mappings to map with new b2b structure instead of seeburger structure. You also need to use EdiSeparator in case of inbound scenarios.

Priya
Dear Pradeep,
In our case, we got the folder details and credentials from GXS. But, I do not have any documentation related to this interface. Here is the overview,
Inbound Scenario:
FTP Sender(GXS)(1 common sender channel for all the EDI files)----> EdiSeparator Receiver
For each message type(for eg: ORDERS 96A)
EdiSeparator Sender( ORDERS 96A)--- IDoc(or any other) receiver
EdiSeparator Sender( ORDERS 93A)--- IDoc(or any other) receiver
Please refer this blog for the inbound scenario:
Outbound Scenario:
IDoc(or any other) sender ----- FTP Receiver(GXS)

Priya
Hi Pradeep,
Most of the Partner will provide the service for transformation and connection to customer, so as part of migration you need to build the transformation (mapping) in PO/PI and you need to onboard the trading partner to SAP PO/PI. So all the connection can be direct from SAP PO/PI to trading partners.

Harish

Hi Pradeep,
I'm afraid there is not any document, tool or guide because they are different products from diferent partners. You will need to develop your interfaces from the beginning.
In SAP PI you can purchase the B2B addon for SAP PI:
