SAP Lumira and BI Mobile (via the BI Platform)

I was excited to watch the recent 'What's New in SAP Lumira 1.28' on SAP YouTube Channel.

'Offline Lumira Documents can be viewed via SAP BusinessObjects Mobile'

I have tried tagging some Lumira documents with the mobile category in the BI Platform, but still cannot view via the BI Mobile App on my iPad.

Have I mis-understood what this statement means, perhaps somebody can shine a light on this and explain where I am going wrong?

Hi Howard,

SAP Lumira documents are not yet (not in 1.28) available through SAP Mobile BI App, however this would be possible soon.

Do you know what the statement means 'Offline SAP Lumira Documents can be viewed in SAP Business Objects Mobile' - how do you get the documents onto your iPad?

Hi Howard,

I am not sure what this means, I feel once lumira documents are available on mobile through Mobile BI App, we will have more clarity on what is supported and what not.

Hi Howard,

It is not yet supported in Mobile BI. However you can publish Lumira Documents to Lumira Cloud and then use Mobile BI.

Does anybody now what the new feature for SAP Lumira in 1.28 means?

You could publish and view Lumira docs via the cloud in previous versions.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "new feature of SAP Lumira in 1.28", but if you are talking about exposing Lumira content on BI Mobile via the BI platform, it's not currently available.  In the future you will be able to expose the Lumira document hosted in BI platform through the BI Mobile application.
