Hi All,

We have enable SelfDiagnosis in Solution Manager and found below critical error/alert.

SAP Solution Manager

. ST06 Managed System AEP~ABAP

Message no. DSWP_SD320

CAUSE&

Red - SAP OS Collector data quality is not sufficient to perform hardware capacity checks in the SAP standard services.

This alert is based on the information in

ST06 ->Details analysis menu -> Compare recent days. The 7 days prior to the data collection are analyzed.

Procedure

In case of problems check all hosts to see if SAPOSCOL is up to date (see SAP Note 19227), is active, and stores data correctly.

The following situations may cause a red rated alert:

Gaps where data is not stored for some days

Negative values in the stored data

CPU Utilization totals are not adding up.

Can any one please help to resolve it.

Regards,

Karthik

Please check collector report SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR (report RSCOLL00) for delays? It may be a case you need add some work processes? Kind regards, Roland

Hi Roland,

I have checked the port SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR (report RSCOLL00) which is successfully running hourly basis without fail.

I am getting this alert in the Solution Manager system as part of Self Diagnosis in SOLMAN_WORKCENTER.

Please suggest, how to clear this.

Regards,

Karthik

Hello Karthik,

the SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR does not collect data for ST06. This is the workload collector job, it collects workload data for ST03.

The new ST06 - it could be ST06N, OS07N, ST06 - depending on the basis support package level, gets data as follow:

The snapshot data is coming from saposcol. If you are missing the snapshot data, you have to check, if saposcol is running correctly and collects data.

The data for previous hours are collected by the data suppliers in RZ20. If you are missing OS data in this section, you have to check operating system monitor in RZ20, if the data collectors are running and updating MTEs.

The history data need to be activated in CPH. Prerequisite is available data for previous hours.
