GRC AC 10.0 - Error when mass importing roles into GRC

Hi Experts

I get an error when trying to set up a background job to mass import roles. My client does not use BRM but imports roles into GRC just for provisioning purposes. Please help. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong here.

Following is what I do......

When job runs job status is "cancelled"

Job log has this error.....

ST22 .........

Thanks

Ranjit

    Hello Ranjit,

As per your attached screen errors,"master role does not exist"

did you imported master roles into BRM,if not import master roles first and then try to import the roles again

if still getting same run time error

implement the below Note(This is for SP10 as you have not mentioned SP level)

1735087 - AC 10.0 BRM dump with the error TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED

    For reference

    Hello Ranjit,

in order to upload derived role master role should also exist in file and its should be above derived role.

first master role then derived role, try to upload.

    Regards,

    Prasant

    Hi there,

The usual order for BRM role imports is the following:

    1) The actual Master/Parent Single role

    2) The Derived/Child Single Role

    3) any composites which hold any of the roles above.

Because you have put a role name starts with as "ZEC*" it is finding Master roles in relation to the roles you wish to import that are not within the BRM repository.

Interesting fact - BRM will try to download technical roles naturally within the order listed above, i.e. Master Singles > Derived Singles > Composites, but if the parent role is missing within the imported range, you will get the error "Master Role/Child Role does not exist".

Compared to 5.2/3, All related roles have to exist within the BRM respository, i.e. if you have a composite to assign, the actual single roles in relation also need to be loaded into BRM.
