Personas 3.0 no node in IMG

Former Member

We have recently installed Personas and our ECC is current Kernel 7.42  Support pack 7.4  level 11. But I don't see the Personas node in IMG. Is there anything we are missing?

Thanks,

Ramesh

HI Ramesh,

there are no IMG settings for Screen Personas 3.0.

Everything is configurable from /personas/admin transaction.

Please make sure that you have followed the instructions as mentioned in the config guide:

help.sap.com/personas

AND

have followed all the instructions/recommendations as mentioned the main note : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2175479

Thanks for your reply Sushant. I'm getting warning that URLs are not added to the whitelist. When I read documentation on how to add them, it points to the IMG node from where you can add them directly. But I don't see this option in Admin transaction. Any ideas?

Hi Ramesh,

Could you please point me to the documentation where you read about IMG settings. If that's the case, then sorry about that. I will get it fixed.

Meanwhile, you can also check our wiki pages:

I think you are right. I couldn't find the 'Maintain whitelist' button on the Admin transaction. But I just found that it is in the menu entries .  Thanks for your help.

Hello Ramesh,

You need to activate SICF as per post steps guide of personas 3.0 and also follow certain steps to activate it.

Run -

Transaction  /n/persos/admin_ui to check if its installed or not.

We have installed and configured Personas 2 and 3.0 both versions. Let me know if you required any further input.

See below screen -

Just to avoid any confusion, the transaction you are talking about - /persos/admin_ui - is a Personas 2 transaction, not a Personas 3 transaction. All Personas 2 transactions start with "/persos" while all Personas 3 transactions start with "/personas".

Thanks Steve. Actually I did both earlier so make sense to add "as" in end of transaction
