Hi Friends,

In our process chain we stuck up with some error could some one help me on this issue its very use full to me.

The create index step its showing the below error

No logs available for this index construction run.

In data target data was successfully loaded.

For your reference I have attached screen shots.

please refer to KD Jain's reply above, indexing is not required in HANA, you can consieder his reply as the 'Correct Answer'.

Hello Bhaskar,

When we migrate from any DBMS to HANA DBMS some of the process chain variants become obsolete.

Like we do not have aggregates, compression and additional indexing on Infocube.

So this obsolete process chain variants we need to remove from existing/running process chains.

Hi Bhaskar,

As a work around you can cancel the job from Tx SM50 and run again it should work and even if it is taking more time again better cancel the job from SM50 then you can use the FM (RSDU_INFOCUBE_INDEXES_REPAIR) to create the indexes.

Hi Bhaskar,

If you are not in HDB, you can try with directly goto manage tab of the cube. Check the DB index if error you can try with Delete and create DB index. If the check after this is green in the cube, you can repeat the process chain to continue .

Hi,

Please check if your request is available for reporting even if the step failed in process chain?

If yes it is not required to generate index for cube in HDB. In the manage of the cube also the tab for performance for index and statistics does not exist.

Hi Jugal,

In Infocube request is green and it is available for reporting also.I tried repeat also but its not fine. I tired to skip the process type but its not use in this case. I need to trigger below step.

Do you by any chance has lot many uncompressed requests in your cube. If so compress it and then run the index creation
