SAP NW IDM RDS V1.720 work on IDM 8.0?

RDS Team,

Hello. We are on IDM 8.0 (going to SP1 in a week). We are on SQL.

Since our Business Blueprinting for IDM and GRC functionality and requirements are delayed, I would like to test some scenarios with RDS V.1.720 on IDM 8.0.

Will SAP NW IDM RDS V1.720 work on IDM 8.0?

Is there a separate RDS for IDM 8.0?

    Hi James,

    I am the package owner of the RDS for IDM.

    Currently we are in preparation for a new version of the RDS on IdM 8.0. But it’s not yet available. In this preparation we implemented the RDS V.1.720 on IDM 8.0, but we run into some issues. With some effort we managed to overcome this issues.

    But I would not recommend to try this in your real system landscape. If you have a kind of sand box system available, you might give it a try.

    And please keep in mind, SAP has not released the RDS for IDM 8.0, so we could not provide any further support.
