Gateway Host and Sevice

Hi SDNites,

Gateway host and service which we use to create RFC connection to establish connectivity with PI. Here we have to populate,

Gatway Host - IP address of ECC or PI system

Gatway service - sapgw+instance no of ECC or PI system.

Regards,

Abhi

    Hi,

You can use either of the gateway host/service details in RFC destination (SM59), both will work.

    Thanks

    Hi Abhishek,

Personally, I use the ECC details

Configuring the Sender RFC Adapter - step by step

We have had an issue when using the PI details. It was on an ELSTER scenario. Although the connection test is working 100%, at runtime 2 or 3 out of 5 requests were failing. Once we have used the ECC details, the errors were gone.

    Regards,
