SLT - 1:N replication configuration limit

Dear SLT Experts,

I have read in some old posts from SAP that the limit for stable 1:N replication from on source system is 4 configuration. This was due to the logging tables being shared for any one table between all configurations, the way the solution is designed etc.

From what I remember it was never a part of the official documentation, but it was something that SAP made the community aware of.

I would like to ask whether this restriction still holds true with DMIS_2011 SP11? Were there any enhancements in this area?
Thanks!

Hi Piotr,

Yes; you are right. In 1:N replication the table could be replicated only in 4 different configurations maximum.

And no, no changes in SP11 and SP12. This restriction is still persists.

Kind regards, Andrey

Do you know if this restriction is still persistent in SP13? I have right now 6 configuration and everything works fine

Hi Alvaro,

I'm not sure starting from what version, but now it's possible to create more than 4 configuration to one source (SLT server give you notification when you try to create 5 connection). But you can replicated same table 4 times only from same source!
