How to implement intercompany process in SAP

Hello Experts,

We have two sales org AB00 (Company code 1234) and CD00 (company code 5678). Currently, customer sends the requirements to sales org AB00 which creates a scheduling agreement (with ref to Contract) and does delivery from plant XY00. Going forward, customer will send the requirement to sales org CD00 which will create the scheduling agreement (with ref to Contract) and will do the delivery from same plant XY00. I know that I need to assign plant XY00 to sales org CD00 and maintain sales org CD00 as internal customer for intercompany billing. I have an idea as to what needs to be done as part of intercompany config.

My doubt is that what will happen to the existing contracts and scheduling agreements that sales org AB00 has with the customer. Will all the open qty have to be delivered before the scheduling agreement can be marked as close by giving a reason for rejection? Do the existing contracts also need to be marked for deletion before the new contracts are loaded?

Another question I have is that in our existing config there is a separate pricing procedure for Contracts and Scheduling Agreements. In the pricing procedure for contracts we have PI02 condition as mandatory and in pricing procedure for Scheduling Agreements we have condition PI01 as mandatory. Since we cannot have both PI01 and PI02 as mandatory and the client wants to use PI01 so in the contract pricing procedure can we copy requirement 22 (intercompany) and another piece of code to it such that in case of sales org CD00 it should not consider PI02 as mandatory?

I know have asked too many questions but I would really appreciate if somebody could explain these points to me.

Thanks,

Karan

Hi

As a first step, check SAP Note 308989 - Consulting note for cross-company transactions.
