Dear All
I am facing an issue while connecting my client system with the server, client is at remote location, i had installed B1 client on his system, on first start it asked for IP or Serer name, i had provided the Server IP Address for the same and then it gets connected to the server, list of company database is available , while choosing a DB and putting down the credentials, it throws a error message as:
"Connection to the database is lost;contact your system administrator(ODBC-1102) [Message 131-183]"
i had tried all the solution as suggested in other post, but didn't get through it,
had also looked for SAP Note: 1455344 , 1440193 - Unable to login to SAP Business One - Error -1102
But solution is provided there is not for 9.1, it is asking for Deleting for SBO-COMMON DB after taking back-up, but it seems a bit risky,
Please let me know everyone where i can find the solution.

Hi,
Try these;
1- Sap Service Manager -> License Manager -> Settings -> Configure Security -> Logged in to System landscape director (by entering B1 site user password).
2- Add new connection with the IP address of server.
3- And then after refreshing, it showed all the DBs in companies section.
4- After this, SAP started working on all clients machines too.
Regards.

Dear Bhushan,
How do you connect remotely? Only VPN is not good enough.
Thanks,
Gordon
