SRM Portal logoff sometimes failed

Dear Experts,

A issue always  make me trouble.

That is , when users test the system, especially test the RFx function. They will use more than two users in one computer.

Sometimes, when you logoff from portal, logon as another user, then the data in the portal is still the one of the first user's.

I know there are some method to avoid this, ex. use two web browser, create new session of the IE, create the private mode of the browser, clear cache of the browser.

While , I want to know the root cause and the final resolution. because sometimes, the methods above are all useless.

Sometimes, I have to use sm04 to help users to deal with the problem.

Please help on this.

Hi Hayashi,

This is a well-known issue for portal.
The issue happened because the logon cookie for the previous logon user is not cleared up.
It would be better to go to EP/portal SCN forum for help or raised SAP incident under EP components.
