Return partial qry mvmt 262 after Production order confirmation

Dear All

i have issued 100 kg Raw material (MB1A 261)  against production order and confirmed 60 kg as final product (co15) ,

Now need to return remaining 40 kg back to storage location using (MB1A 262).

While returning material ,system do not stop to return more than 40 kg , it means i may return 50 or 60 kg and document is posted .which is wrong .

how to impose a check so that user can not exceed the remaining quantity while returning .

HI,

As per PP Work flow follow as below SEQUENCE,

1.Take GR 101 for confirmed Goods of 60 Kgs.

2. Take GI Reversal 262 for remaining goods of 40 Kgs.

In your case even though the excess qty is allowed for 262 it'll be captured in COGI with error msg.
