The VF45 report is a great report to show the deferred balances. However, it only shows the amount in document currency. I need to see this detail in either Local Currency or USD so that I can total the amount and agree it to the GL. We need to provide this report to the auditors and to the tax team as well. VF45 report includes the option to add the columns for the balances for LC, but they are blank. What needs to be done to get these LC columns to populate?
I'm not familiar with the transaction, but just a guess - on the screenshot you have sales documents, not billing documents. If I remember correctly, the exchange rate is only available in the billing documents. Sales documents can change ten times over before they are billed and posted to FI. You can ask an ABAPer to debug the transaction or run SQL trace to confirm.
You could search for user exit / BADI / enhancement point in this transaction to see if you could add a custom column. Or maybe a simpler solution would be to just create a custom query.
It's quite strange though to audit sales documents instead of financial documents...

I believe if you execute FS00, there is a provision to set the value to show in local currency. Did you check with your FI consultant before posting here?

Hello Mr. Lakshmipathi.
Thanks for responding!
The first setting is a GL level setting, we already have the LC available in GL reporting, the problem is with the revenue recognition reporting which reads data from its own tables (VBREVE) which unfortunately is not storing the values in LC.
The note is regarding incorrect calculation of amounts in local currency, which is not the problem here. In our case the calculations are fine only reconciliation is difficult owing to currency reporting challenges.
