Hello Gurus
We have a 3-tier landscape for PI. DEV --> QA --> PRD.
However, the applications we are integrating have 5-tier landscape. DEV --> SIT --> UAT --> E2E --> PRD
SIT, UAT and E2E environments are connecting to PI QA. So we have configured business systems for these in PI QA.
We have set up transport targets in SLD connecting DEV to SIT business systems.
I want to know if we can set the targets in a way that when we transport ID objects from DEV, they get updated in UAT and E2E business systems as well.
We are working on PI 7.4 Single stack SP11.
Appreciate any help coming my way...

Hi,
You seems to be following the right way for the kind of server redundancy is in your PI server.
In QA your ESR components will be same as transported from DEV to QA. After that you need to copy your ID objects for other servers as you have to create separate BS/BC accordingly .
When your testing is complete with Pre-Prod server you need to import this to PROD.
So for ESR in PI the transport will be like -
DEV - QA - PROD
For ID
DEV - QA - (copy for UAT and E2E) - PROD
Thanks,
Apu

This is not possible without having multiple Integration servers. So the current configuration objects are transported from DEV to QA(SIT), copied for UAT,E2E and then from QA to PRD.

Hello Xin
If you move ID objects using TR, then naming conventions might cause you the problem. So better create your ID objects manually. And move ESR as you wish.
