Assignment of real estate object in PM order

Hello

We are trying to assign a real estate Object in the PM order. The funcloc is created from real estate, but it is not possible to assign real estate Objects to the PM order, only allowed to assign Investment program, the others are grey. I find some text refering to customizing of the companycode but it is not Clear where? Does anyone know or have a suggestion to a solution?

Hi Ivar Hove,

Check the PM order type using T-code OIOA and find out the settlement profile attached to it.

For example, for PM order PM01, assigned settlement profile is 40.

After you get the settlement profile, use transaction code OKOA, and select the settlement profile which you got in the previous step. In our case it is 40.

Select settlement profile (40) and double click on it and check the valid receivers maintained for this settlement profile. Real estate object is at the bottom of the list, make the entry as optional, save it and now again try assigning RE object to PM orders.

It should resolve your issue.

Thanks, have checked this now and the values are already set, so it did not solve the problem. So i will keep looking for other errors.

From help.sap.com, have tried to insert the link. Under prereq is the Reference to customizing the Company code.

Hi Ivar,

This sounds very basic, but have you activated the Real estate management checkbox at controlling level under "Activate components/control indicators". You can do it using transaction code OKKP.

I checked in my system, for me RE objects are available for assignment.

Yup, this is checked.... I have worked With PM a lot but not With the integration to Real estate, so i will have to keep looking.

Hi Ivar,

When I create a PM order from Real estate, the assignment is grayed out for me as well.

The reason is, the order is created with reference to Functional location and functional location already carry the RO reference.

So, by design in the PM order, real estate object is already assigned.

This is how I interpret it.
