MultiProvider Unassigned value

Hi All,

I'm having an issue when pulling data provider from a MultiProvider. MP consist of 2 InfoSet's. Each InfoSet consist of DSO's

InfoSet A - Installation Number (DSO1)

              Premise (DSO2)

              Point of Device Number (DSO3)

              City(DSO2)

InfoSet B - Installation Number (DSO1)

              Meter reading note (DSO4)

In the MP i have identified Installation Number for both InfoSets (in order to have a common key).

When i create a query on top of this MP everything is working fine as long as i pull in Point of Device number. When i pull in that these move in as Not Assigned.

However when i create a InfoSet based on these DSO's (here i join based on each key) i was able to join and get data without Unassigned values.

What is the reason behind this? Is it because when i create the MP i did not Assign characteristics at the level where i should be joining?

Hi,

What are your keyfigures?

Edit the keyfigures based on INFOSET B and include the characteristic POINT OF DEVICE NUMBER..Then right click the object and choose CONSTANT SELECTION..Add also the PREMISE and CITY then choose CONSTANT SELECTION..

To avoid this NOT ASSIGNED scenario if you drill down METER READING NOTE, edit also the keyfigures from INFOSET A and include the METER READING NOTE, right click then choose CONSTANT SELECTION..
