Hello S B,
You might be wondering you do not have the button OR you might be wondering nothing is happening upon pressing F6. These two will happen when you run the Tcode MCI8 again. When you run the tcode afresh, you'll see the above button.pressing upon which you will be taken to the Selectversion menu, instead you can choose to press F6. When once you select a version the greyed-out field appears and the button and F6 goes away. If you have to select another version, then you need to run the Tcode again and do as above.

Maria is right. When you Save the output screen and come back to the Selection screen and press F6, your saved versions are listed from where you can select one. Just like a layout/variant. And then this field appears. This field will be greyed only. You can select different values through F6 only. Paul is right in suggesting to try F6 key.
See initially I did not have the field. Now I got it. After saving the first Output layout.

Hi S B,
When you are open MCI8, you are getting the version field grey out ?
On executing MCI8, you can save the data with a particular version, which you can use later. In my system i have the option of selecting the version.
Use MCKM transaction and check whether there are multiple version available or only one available.
Regards
Terence

Hi,
I don't see that field being displayed on my systems. Usually there is a icon 'SelectVers [F6)' available to select a earlier saved version.
