How to create authorization to restrict people based on material type for Me21n tcode.

HI all,

We need to restrict the people for material type like finished Goods, Semi finished goods and raw meterials, I have found the authorization object M_Mat_Mar for meterial type, but when i open it, it is providing provision for Authorization group. how to provide authorization based on material type.

Hi Manjappa,

There needs to be a discussion between you and the functional guys, where-in you might have to ask them to maintain authorization groups in the material master based on material types. You should be able to then use these authorization groups in the authorization object mentioned by you to restrict access.
