Hi Sven,

If you are not getting decimals (.) or commas (,) as per your required format then go to SU01 in change mode > enter your user name > under default tab you will find decimal notation. change it as per your requirement. Save & log off.

You need to login again and run COOISPI. You will find quantities / currencies as per new format.

Rohit

the problem isn't about commas or decimals

Hi Sven,

As you mentioned "I can change the separators, but the problem stays..."

You need to make the changes and log off. Once you login again, you can see the changes in format.

Rohit

Your problem is based on your customizing for the unit of measure KG

KG is usually defined in CUNI to display zero decimals.

Nevertheless, this is a display setting, the user can without any restriction enter up to 3 decimals when posting movements.

Your display considers your customizing and does not display decimals in all cases where a integer number was entered for the movement, but it displays the decimals in all cases where the user entered decimals.

As you could see in my samples, I did change - one time the 1000 sep is a space and one time it is '.' or ','
- so you can imagine that I logged off and on...

Again! That's not the point.

HI

What's the issue in your screen shot? If I read first column "Sollmenge" = Target Amount it means

3660 (USD or what ever currency you are using).

Same way 10 means 10 USD

0,500 means 50cents

Could you be more clear with your issue? Have you done any enhancement w.r.t. your below statement:

decimal numbers are partwise suppresed.

Thx!

here another sample:

It would be better readable if all values had the same format.

I think these lists and ALVs are so, because there can be values of very different units in one column - meters, kilograms, pieces ...

Hi

Again it depends upon UoM also. Example in your case it's in KG's. So first is 786KG, the next is basically 2.683,500 (two thousand, six hundred, eighty three, followed by decimal (in your case comma coz of setting in SU01) followed by half KF (0,500).

This continues as per bookings posted which is correct. Now, if you compare the same with the setting in SU3/SU01 the decimal notation you have three options and for you it's third. Try second (Y) by changing the same in SU3. I hope you will see numbers before decimal and after decimal that's it.

Let us know if you are still expecting something else as per UoM for these materials and setting done in your user ID.

If this already answer's your question follow else raise your concern.

Regards

Dear People - the problem isn't about decimals or commas.

The point is "digits before and after the decimal seperator" and this in the same format over the whole column.

As you can see - I can change the separators, but the problem stays...
