Crystal Report 2008 - Format issue when published on the server

Hi All,

I am facing a peculiar problem while formatting the Crystal report.

When I change a property/alignment of columns in the report template and save, the change is reflected in the report (preview) when the report is generated from my local crystal report client.

When the same template is published on the crystal report server , the report gets generated from a job configured in a scheduler (scheduler is 'BuildForge' in my case) . The formatting in this report gets tampered and will not be as expected.

Actual Requirement: All my reports should be generated in MS Excel format. First column in excel sheet must be blank. Rest of the fields/columns must be in a single cell each with no extra space between columns.

Is there anything I need to do to take care of such a problem? What could be the reason for such a behavior?

Please help.

Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Sindhu,

If it works from the CR Designer however, does not work from 'BuildForge', you'll need to contact them to find out what's happening.

Here are some tips on creating reports that are exported to Excel:

Exporting to Microsoft Excel with Crystal Reports 10 and Later
