Documents not opening in change mode from Charm Change document

Hi All,

In the Charm Change documents, we have the option of attaching documents from Solar01 under the DOCUMENTS section. Now after adding, if I click the documents to open it directly from Charm, it opens in display mode and does not allow me to change the document status. Is there a way to open the same in Change mode and have all the Solar01 functionality of adding comments, changing status.

Am I missing out on any security part or snote because earlier we could do the same or is it related to any upgrade issue. Our solman version in 7.1 SP12.

Can you check the status of document?

is it released or review status?

If yes then you can not change it.

If not then go to document management and check if you had specified any authorizations at attribute level.

SPRO->technical settings under solman->document management

Check for authorizations also

Prev, the auths should come from the SAP* roles and you  may need to regenerate the profiles also.
