I had this problem and ended up having to download the 64-bit jCo drivers from SAP Service Marketplace and place them in c:\windows\system32 directory. That's what did the trick for me, at least. Also, I was using 64-bit Design Studio.

You can find the Workspace Folder in Directory C:\Users\YourUser\
it is called Analysis-workspace
Please note that this Folder contains your locally stored Design-Studio Apps.
So please make sure you have a backup of this stuff or everything is on the Server.
In my case we resoved like this:
Uninstall Design Studio
Delete Analysis-Config and Analysis-workspace
Reinstall Design Studio
