HI Experts

If I have two release strategies with same characterstic value but different release code ,which release strategy will be fetched?

Is it depending upon roles assigned to release code?

Br,

Swapnil

    Hi Swapnil,

If you have two release strategies with same characteristics value but different release codes, the system will trigger the first strategy where the classification values corresponds the document to be released.

In my system, I've created two release strategies as you mentioned, they are: RC / RA and RC / RG. The difference between them are the release codes.

The system seems perform a sequential fetching, as RC / RA is the first on the list, if the document created fetches this release, this will be triggered.

In other example I've created the same release called RC / RZ. In this case the triggered was the release RC / RG. because it appears first in the list.

    I hope it helps you.

    Best Regards,

    Rodrigo

    Hi,

Why you will design to have two release strategies with same characteristic value but different release code in it?

Better go for two release strategies with different characteristic values and with one release strategy(S1) with release code(C1) and another release strategy(S2) with release codes(C1 & C2)
