HANA SPS 11 Upgrade - Statistic server migration

Hi,

We are upgrading our SAP HANA SPS 08 version system to SPS 11. As teh part of upgrade prepartions we found SAP notes "1917938 - Migration of the statistics server for Revision 74 or higher" to upgrade statistics server. As per this notes, configuration change is required to activate the new statistics server: nameserver.ini -> [statisticsserver]->active=true.

Is the above parameter is required for us or the upgrade process from SPS 08 to SPS 11 will take care of this automatically?

Are there any manual action required before / during / after SPS 08 to SPS 11 upgrade?

Is the stats data will also be migrated automated or any manual action is required?
