SAP Fiori Search Not Working

Hello Everyone,

We are configuring SAP Fiori Search and Factsheet application. Currently We have configured SAP Fiori Factsheet Application 'Purchase Order' successfully. When testing the application with target URL and Tile its working properly, see below image

Now we are facing following problems:

1. Application is not populating in fiori Search Drop down list see below image:

2. When trying to enter a purchase order and search getting following errors:

We have performed all required steps, created all search connectors and indexed them, Configured Web Dispatcher for Fiori Search, activated all SICF nodes required for Fiori Search etc..

Any input or guidance would be helpful.

Hello Adem,

Thank you very much for your help and input though I had created search connectors yesterday I started creating connectors again as per your input. It took almost 8 Hours and I was waiting for it to complete. Now I have started indexing it. Will update whats is the progress. Thank you again

Hi All,

As suggested by @Adem and @YenShen I have create connectors again although I was doubtful.

Still facing all the problems listed in the question.

Can we try something else @Adem @YenShen ?

Can you show me the search connector you have created in ESH_COCKPIT? Is it all required connector activated and is green status?

Just for your information again, Purchase Order Factsheet Application is Working perfectly when I am running using a static tile for a purchase order but I am not able to run it using fiori search.

Any idea what I am missing? Thank you again.

Hi,

One more thing. When I search in search box i get error message 'failed to load resource '/sap/es/ina/GetResponse' even thought the path exist and the service is activated.

Can you guys please explain?

Hi Rauf,

You may try go to transaction "SU53", insert your username and execute. Check whether there is any authorization issues on your user.

Thank you, I appreciate your efforts.

I checked in SU53 see below image.

And one more thing when I am activating "USER_AUTHORITY" the JOB log is not getting updated. I guess there is some issue with it, see below image.

Hi Rauf,

Does this issues solved yet?

If not, to check whether search is available or not, you may verify that all ajax search calls are forwarded to your search back-end system.

Open developer tools in chrome browser and check the ajax calls GetServerInfo and GetResponse.

*GetServerInfo returns the system id of the target system which is useful for validation.

If it return the wrong system id, please configure the web dispachter.

Hi Yen,

When you say GetServerInfo returns info about target system do you mean back end system or the system on which the service is executed on (i.e. front end system) ?

Hi Rauf,

Add-on to Adem reply. In order to use fact sheets app, you need to activate the related search connector as shown in the documentation. You may go to transaction "ESH_COCKPIT" and follow the steps given by Adem to create the search connector.
