Material Ledger Closing in SAP

Dear Experts,

I have two questions in Materail Ledger closing:

Can we able to close materail ledger from last 4 periods, eventhough materail period is closed and now 7 and 8 periods are opened and also

can we able to run ML closing(including SL/ML/Consumption/WIP and posting for one single material.
