FI/GL Data load issue

Dear Colleague,

We have HANA implemented in BW system,

but FI/GL data load take a lot of time to load the data from R/3

and some times it gets failed due to job failed in source system.

What are the ways we can imporve the performance of BW system.

Kindly get in touch with your Basis team and let them know the source system issues/error. If this issue is with extraction takes long time in ECC then they can have some improvement steps.

BW side have a look at the steps in IP log and see where it is taking more time.

I think witht he help of Basis team you will be able to bring the improvement.

We already have contacted with Basis colleagues,and they have improved the R/3 by changing memory parameters.We need some logic at BW so that this error does not occur

Hi,

You need to find out the step which is taking more time. Then only you can focus to get it improve. In ECC, RSA3 try to check how long it take to fetch.

See whether there are any enhancement code written which is forming the bottleneck for the increased time.

Check the resources available at the time of extraction.

Hi Kinjal,

If load is taking more time.

You can split the load based on Fiscal year at Infopackage level & then load the same.

Also make sure that you give the selection to 9999 for last load for eg(2015-9999).

Also FIGL data is huge so always take a downtime & ask BASIS team to monitor archive at their ends.

Hello Rajesh,

Here i am doing repair full for certain period.

Company code,GL account,fiscal period and 0debitors are already in selection of infopackages.

The delta is working okay.
