Use of object link, and usage in business

What is the use of object link? where does it apply in business?

Hello Naveen,

One simple example:

There are several Motors as Equipments and Control Panels also as Equipments. To show which control panel is related to which Equipment the Object link is used (One to One). Similarly a feeder (as an Equipment) might be serving to a group of Panels, then the Object link is used as One to Many.

Similarly a water pipeline connecting between a pump and its served objects (like overhead tanks, Cooling systems etc) forms as Objectlink between the pump and those served objects.
