CR 11.0.0.128 crashes trying to put a db field to the report

Hello I have re-installed CR 11.0.0.128 on my new PC. Both are running windows 7.

I have the product registered yet when I try to force it to look for updates it says that it is not registered. So I cannot check to updates.

When I create a report and try to add a database field to the report it crashes.
