Hi.
I am using an amount measure with '%' as unit. Bex Analyser shows the measure unformated as 0,05% as it is stored in the system. I do not like to change this to have a simple calculation during ETL. So I am thinking about another way instead of multiply the measure in the Query with 100 to have a correct display during reporting. Is there any setting I am missing???
We are actually using SAP BW 7.0.

Nils
Hi nils,
if your data is 0,05 with unit % but you mean 5% then your data is wrong.
So either take away the % unit from the key figure, or correct the value.
Afterwards it will show up in the query correctly.

Cornelia

Hi Cornelia,
it is like this. We get an flat file import and using the percentage value as 0,05. It is delivered from source like this and also it is easier to handle in calculations. I multiply with 100 in query mostly to avoid division of 100 in transformations or store it twice. Thats because if there is a method to format it in excel or something like this. But it seems I have to go for the solution I done in the past.
Thanks,
Nils
Hi,
Did you already use the %A function?

Hi Nils,
Can you please refer the following Document link about Percentage functions in BEx Query Designer and check whether it helps you:

Hi Nils,
Could you please share the data in InfoProvider, Report (Currently shown) and PSA (if there any)? along with expected output.
So that we will have clear idea about the requirement and suggest the possibilities.
Thanks,
Umashankar
