Material Description not displayed in Purchase Order Print Preview

Dear All,

Greetings !!..

I have a purchase order with two line items, In the Purchase Order Print Preview for line item 20 the Material description is not being displayed.

The Purchase Order is in Spanish Language, When i created a similar PO with the same Master data with EN as the Language key the Material Description is displayed in the Print Preview. The PO was also debugged to check and the data was being picked up from EKPO - TXZ01 where the material description is properly maintained. Also in the Material Master - Additional Data tab - Descriptions - The Material description is maintained for ES language.

Kindly help me with the issue.

Many Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Nitin Naudiyal

Does the description appear when it is really printed?

Have you tested it with SAP given print program and SAP given form?

Try this first. Only this way you can determine if it is a problem in the standard or caused by own development, which is my guess.

    Hi Nitin

If you have configured custom print program and smart form for PO output, then your abaper have messed the coding while designing the form. Check with your abaper about logic he had to print the material text .. is it from EKPO or from MAKT ?

    ssssssss
