Hi All,
Im facing an issue with bulk sending of messages from soap sender interface is facing a high load or slow backend connections causes the blockage of the FCA threads and heavy impact on processing time.
I have gone through the SAP note 1375656 and I found a solution to increase the limit of parameter 'fcaserverthredcount' can any one please let me know how to change the value of this parameter and is there any way to prevent this issue.
Thanks in advance
>>>please let me know how to change the value of this parameter
http: //host: port/nwa/sys-config -> services -> HTTP Provider
search for "FCAServerThreadCount" under paramter and change this value to what is recommended by SAP i.e. 50.

Hi Bharath,
Pay attention that to increase the number of SOAP threads could affect to PI performance. Take care when you change this parameter.
You should think or figure out alternatives:
- De-Central adapter engine for slower scenarios.
- Think if the scenarios with huge load/payloads can be modified.
- Deactivate the monitoring for that scenarios if you are using ICO objects.
- Ask to basis team if the post-installation steps are done and to encourage them to study possible improvements.
- Increase your PI hardware.

Hi Bharath,
These documents could be helpful for you:
Starting and Stopping - Administering PI (Process Integration) - SAP Library
In my opinion, the parameter affects to PI number threads, in this way you only need to restart PI.

Thank you Iñaki Vila
But I'm having doubt only regarding the restart of systems after changing the count.
What makes the difference between the changing the count from config tool and the path given by hareesh.
