Hello,
We have SRM 7.02 with Extended Classic scenario and PDP. Recently we observed that two shopping carts were created against one PR when price from the PR was changed. One Shopping cart with old price and other with new price.
Is this standard behavior or bug?
Thanks & Regards,
Pankaj
Hi Pankaj,
If the shopping cart items do not have a source of supply, the standard system creates a purchase order with one purchase order item for each shopping cart item.
once a source of supply is assigned to purchase order, the items can no longer be divided up between different purchase orders.
You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI BBP_GROUP_LOC_PO) if you want to create a single purchase order for particular shopping cart items that do not have a source of supply assigned to them.
So if your SC has 2 or more line items, then it can be processed in sourcing for multiple PO based on above logic.
Thanks
ANAMIKA

HI Pankaj
Standard behavior is that when you create a PR and release it then it will create a SC
If you update the PR the same SC gets updated again .
However please check if there is any customizations in your inbound to SRM or outbound to ECC which could cause this issue
Or it could be due to a bug for which you should raise to SAP

Hi Pankaj,
that sounds like a bug. What is the Status and the sourcing relevance indicator for the first SC?
