SSLCertificateException: Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier

Dear Experts,

My scenario is IDOC-- PI-- SFDC, Recently sfdc team has upgarded SSL Certificate. Because of that my sfdc interfaces are failing in PI. getting error below

"SOAP: error occured: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: iaik.security.ssl.SSLCertificateException: Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier "

Do i need to update in PI serever too?

If yes, where it has to be done

Can any one please help me on this issue?
