Lumira1.27 failed installation Oracle 11-jdbc driver and MSSQL 2012 drivers

Hi I just started Lumira 1.27 POC.

I have Lumira installed on a Terminal server with 64 bits.

OS version is Windows 2008R2

OS version W2K8R2_SP1_STD_X64

Service Pack1

CPU is Dual 2.70 GHZIntel XeonR

Memory 4096MB

I used the File->Preferences->SQL Drivers to install

  1. Oracle 11 - JDBC Drivers. - I placed jdbc6.jar into C:\Program Files\SAP Lumira\Desktop\plugins
  2. MS SQL Server 2012 JDBC Driver. This I use sqljdbc4.jar

After I choose to install the above .JAR files, it shows GREEN indicating installed. It then prompts me to close the Lumira and restart to take effect.

But after I restart the application, it shows not installed and it still has RED CROSS.

Can someone point out if I missed any step here?

I have been stuck here for 2 days...Tks.

Hi Jennifer - I haven't tried installing ODBC drivers for a while.

Is there a chance you could try your POC with the latest version of Lumira, 1.28.2, just released? I always find working with the latest release better

    Hi Jennifer,

Can you select the driver name and click on import from the File->Preferences->SQL Drivers to install and point to the driver JAR location instead of directly placing into the lib folder. Then when lumira prompts for restart, restart the tool and check if you still face the issue.
