Any one has implemented such cases.

We use Tidal to schedule reports. It should be same for Porgram objects schedule as well. No difference.

In terms of BOBJ/BOE, BI Platform products what you're asking doesn't make sense.

So if you can describe a bit more what exactly are you trying to achieve and which products you use, maybe we can point you to the right direction.

for example - what's tidal ? what is run/initiate procedure/ function?

Requirement: I need to create a program object in business objects to run a batch file.

Earlier it's called as - Program Object/Object.  What's the new name given to the Object in BO 4.1

the name hasn't changed - it is still a Program Object.
