How do I refresh a file?

First post here, we are using VE Author 8.0.301 and are all very new to it. We are creating rh files for the purpose of electronic work instructions. Currently we have merged in an Inventor assembly file. That file has been changed a couple of times since the RH file was first created. How do we update/refresh the model file inside the RH file? Or do we have to start from scratch?

Thank you,

Paul Hamor

    Hello Paul,

You will need to use the "Replace with Options" functionality to replace the original component/assembly with the revised component/assembly. Search on "replacing objects" in the Visual Enterprise Author help libary, and you will see all of the details.

    Regards,

    Ken
