Design Studio 1.5 PDF Print in IE

Hi,

We are using DS 1.5 on BO 4.1 Platform.

DS 1.5 PDF component works as designed in e.g. Firefox 39.0.3 and Chrome 44.0.2403 but is NOT working in IE 9.0.8112.

Dialog Popup is displayed (Header/Footer/Orientation). When pressing OK nothing happens.

Anyone experiencing same issues? Is this a known issue? I didn´t find anything in SCN or Web.

Hello Andreas,

I too faced the same issue while working on my dashboard. Export to PDF was not working in IE9 browser but was working fine with IE10 & above, Firefox and Chrome.

Hi Andreas,

we have tested the PDF Export functionality of DS 1.5 recently and found that it does not work with IE9 but on IE10 or IE11 it runs OK.

Hi Experts,

Export to PDF functionality is working fine in certain versions of Mozilla Firefox though SAP note says it wont work in Firefox.

Anyone has idea on which version of Firefox is the latest that it will work ?

Andreas - please see SAP Note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2169049 - it states "Export to PDF is not supported in Internet Explorer 9, Safari and Firefox."

Thanks for replies and note reference. PDF Print is definitely working with Firefox though.
