Hi Delliker,

I instantiated the same solution instance and everything was fine with it.

Could you be more specific what is not OK from your perspective?

Hi

I have the same issue. I instantiated the instance yesterday. I can remote desktop to the client m/c but the services (HDP and A4H) are not started by default and when i try to start them using SAPMMC, i get the following error.

Cannot connect to sap service on. webservice error 21.the server name or address could not be resolved winhttpsendrequest failed in plugin_winhttpfsend().DCOM interface error : 800706BA.The RPC server is unavailable

Thanks

Mohit

Hi Mohit,

The fastest solution would be to terminate this instance and create a new one. The problem that you have described is rather a glitch than a common issue.

If the problem persists you may login to the Server VM via SSH and manage the SAP services from there. For example execute the two commands below to get the status of the SAP processes.

su a4hadm

sapcontrol -nr 00 -function GetProcessList

Hi Stanimir

Thanks for your reply.

Here is an error i got when tried sapcontrol command.

20.08.2015 15:07:56

GetProcessList

FAIL: NIECONN_REFUSED (Connection refused), NiRawConnect failed in plugin_fopen()

I already tried terminating and creating a new instance.

Thanks

Hi Mohit,

The error that you have received indicates that the sapstartsrv service is not started. I'd recommend to try to fix the problem by OS reboot, suspend and activate or creating a new instance.

Best regards,
